Reflections from Kathy

A really good showing for Livery, you might say. In reflecting on the State Fair, aside from too many Lamb burgers, I would like to share one funny thing that happened. I was standing at the fair on the third straight day numbed by the noise of the goats and the sheep and the cows and the people and the dust. From inside the arena I hear the familiar, pleasant voice of Val Cole on the microphone, “Back your horses, please back.” I had to laugh because as the horses obediently backed to their rider's cue on the inside of the arena, on the outside of the arena I hear the familiar sound … beep, beep, beep, beep right in time with the horses, as the tractor backed up also! I had to giggle. Thank you, God, for our success and that bright spot in my day. He has a sense of humor and it truly helped me make it through that very long day.

Thanks for a great year, guys!!

Keep those pics and news coming!
