The Livery Training Stable is located in Corrales, NM. Kathy G. O’Neal owns and manages Livery Training Stables. For over 30 years she has been serving the equestrian community as a qualified trainer of hunter/jumpers and western horses. She has shown successfully in both disciplines locally, regionally and nationally.
Kathy’s God-given gift of teaching has helped numerous students over the years win high point honors. Kathy’s students range in age from 3 years to 83 years old. She has brought numerous talented children and adult amateurs to individual successes. She believes that branching out and teaching students and their horses to be well rounded by riding both English and Western contributes to their success.
In recent years, Livery Training Stables students have dominated the youth and amateur divisions in the New Mexico Pinto Club. Recently, one of her training horses was horse of the year in the Parade Horse division for the Pinto Horse Association of America. And before that she was World Reserve Champion in Diciplined Rail on another horse.
Kathy believes that one of the best ways to learn life skills and lessons is from working with and caring for horses. She is happy to help anyone with the desire to learn more. “One of my goals is to teach as many people I can about horses and horsemanship so that they and their horse will thrive in their relationship. With a little knowledge and guidance, people and their horses can enjoy each other in a safe environment.
